Laura Vizzutti has performed and presented workshops in Japan, New Zealand, Canada, Europe and throughout the United States. She began studying piano at the age of 4 and was a young artists competition winner at the age of 14. As a scholarship student at the famed Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York Ms. Vizzutti studied with Brooks Smith and Eugene List. She earned a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance.
After completion of her undergraduate studies, Laura, performed as accompanist for the Washington Choral Arts Society at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. She then moved to Los Angeles to continue her graduate studies at the University of Southern California. She coached there with Jascha Heifetz and Brooks Smith. Ms. Vizzutti was subsequently awarded a Master of Music degree in Chamber Music and Accompanying. Her discography includes “A Trumpeter’s Dream” and “The Carnival of Venus” recorded with her husband Allen Vizzutti. She has recorded with the international ensemble, ‘Ten Of The Best’ in Europe and in Japan performing such selections as George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody In Blue”.
Laura’s recent activities have included solo and ensemble concerts throughout the U.S., in Japan, Australia, Austria, Croatia, Finland and Germany. She has been invited several times to participate in arts cruises aboard the luxury cruise vessel MS Europa on extended tours of the South Pacific, North Atlantic and Carribean Oceans.
Laura can be heard performing on television and movie soundtracks such as “Hallmark Hall of Fame” and “Zeus and Roxanne”. As a strong proponent of music education Ms. Vizzutti has taught at the college level and maintains a small private teaching studio.
